As our new Software Test Engineer you will become a part of the software development team where you will report directly to the Manager of Software Development and work in close collaboration with the respective Software Developers. It will be your responsibility to make sure that software is tested in accordance with MCI’s test strategy.
Further, your area of responsibilities will be to:
- Create test plans
- Design and implement test cases
- Perform functional and non-functional test
- Support in debugging and bug reporting
- Develop smaller test applications
Ideally, you hold a B.Sc. as a Software Engineer or a similar degree.
You are ISTQB Foundation certified or hold another relevant certification. You are experienced with Robot Framework and Python on Windows and Linux, along with setting up test management programs and systems.
Furthermore, you need to have a good understanding of product development and experiences with C/C++. In addition, you have knowledge about the setup and use of test management systems.
On a personal level, you are structured, detail oriented and self-driven. You enjoy working independently, as well as in teams. Oral and written English are a pre-requisite.
