We are looking for bright-minded software engineer in test to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse team to build world class Business Intelligence solutions.

Our team within Swedbank BI is growing fast and needs more talented individuals to handle increasing workload. We work together with operational systems across Swedbank group to ensure efficient creation and collection of aggregated and consolidated information. Our people ensure that we have necessary data and relevant information that will be transformed into knowledge and smart business decisions.

About the job

You will be part of an agile team and should be ready to handle a variety of tasks within the team. The aim is to concentrate on ETL processes and Data Warehouse testing with possibility to grow into software engineer who could be capable of doing analyses and development in the same area.

You will be responsible for:

  • Independently develop test plans for a project or product
  • Creating, executing and maintaining test scenarios
  • Write advanced SQL queries for ETL/DWH testing
  • Communicate issues to IT and business counterparties
  • Manage multiple tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, as necessary
  • Contribute to the test strategy with ideas on tools and technologies for future automation

We expect you to have:

  • Experience with databases and SQL
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • A desire to work within an agile team
  • Good communication skills + good spoken and written English
  • Relevant university degree within IT (or in acquisition)
  • Experience in test automation is a plus
  • Experience in working with enterprise data warehouses and financial institutions are considered as pluses
