Digital Channels Baltic is part of Digital Banking unit, focusing its efforts on Swedbank’s Baltic external channels, including Internetbank, Mobile bank, Swedbank Gateway development and maintenance. We work in Agile way in cross-functional teams and stand for flexible, stabile and high quality services. We are growing as a team and looking for Software Engineer competent in Java.

What joys and challenges do we offer You?

As a member of cross-functional team You will be responsible for our services development and maintenance. Your tasks will be varying from defining and designing technical requirements and building highly reliable solutions to improving existing applications and helping to support production systems. You will be involved in analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of our IT systems.

Technologies involved include (but are not limited to):

  • Java 7/8, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Jetty, Liberty;
  • GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins, Gradle, Linux, Selenium, Ruby.

What do You need to succeed?



You need to have good knowledge and experience in Java programming. You are solution-oriented, have strong analytical skills and have the mind-set of a true team-player, also not afraid to express Your opinion and take responsibility. You are ready and willing to constantly learn new technologies and share and implement good practices.

In addition:

  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Higher education in IT field (can be in the process of acquiring).
  • Experience with containers and systems built on it is considered as a plus.
