Job offer description

Are you a software engineer who is interested in making an impact and is keen on integrations? Your heart beats for customer service and you want to make the best possible solutions? We at Axel Health make a difference by providing powerful patient flow software solutions for the healthcare industry. Come join us on our journey!

We are looking for a full-time Software Engineer to join our growing team in Stockholm, Sweden. You’ll be part of our Swedish Team and Integration Team, which is mainly located in Finland.

This is what you will be doing:

Your workdays will include developing software integration solutions for our customers’ needs in cooperation with our product owner, software developers and testers. You play a key role in the success of our delivery projects and in the software design and technology selections.

You will work closely with our customers and third-party system vendor's professionals. As being part of our delivery projects, we expect you to be self-directed and take an active approach when working with our customers.

To succeed, you'll be needing:

  • Experience in practical Java software development.
  • A deep knowledge of Java integration technologies and practices.
  • TCP/IP networking technologies and Linux tools, such as bash, nc, socat, ssh, openssl and curl are familiar to you.
  • Fluency in agile software development practices such as clean architecture, design patterns, continuous integration, test driven development, refactoring and version control.

You are social and able to work independently in the customer interface to design solutions. Our working language is English and our customers communicate in Swedish. You’ll need fluent skills in both languages.

This is something extra we'd appreciate and consider as an advantage:

  • Experience in the following technologies: Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Camel, ActiveMQ, REST, SOAP, JMS, OSGi.
  • Knowledge of healthcare integration standards such as FHIR and HL7.
  • Ability to work fluently with Scrum or Kanban software development practices.

And this is what you will get:

We offer you a full-time job with interesting and versatile tasks in a growing IT-company. You’ll get the support of a super-team, both in Finland and Sweden, and the opportunity to develop yourself during your journey with us. We are your second family. Our benefits include comprehensive healthcare and social events with your team.
