We are looking for a talented software engineer to join our BI Controlling & Steering cross-functional team to build world-class Business Intelligence solutions.

Our team within Swedbank BI is growing fast and needs more talented individuals to handle increasing workload. We work together with different systems across Swedbank group to ensure data from various systems is turned into value for end user. Our people are responsible for an end-to-end solution from analysis, design, development, test, and maintenance of our processes and services.

 

What challenges do we offer you?

You will be part of an agile team focused on delivering the analytical services for specific business use cases. We are concentrating on providing stable, up and running BI services in unstable and constantly changing world. You should be ready to handle a variety of tasks within the team. You will work in close collaboration with other team members and stakeholders within processes and services.

Your main responsibility will be to detect and investigate problems with ETL processes/applications/databases/data and find solutions for them and write and update documentation.

You will also need to ensure the services’ stability by supporting our service and users. You will have important role of delivery approver and change approver/assignee in the change management process.

Additionally youwill administrate SAP for profitability & cost management and Teradata Value Analyser applications. You will be responsible for installation, configuration, testing, making application upgrades, providing user support, problem solving, investigating and testing new functionalities and communication with vendor support.

 

What would help you to succeed in this role?

You have good analytical thinking and constant desire to grow and self-develop yourself in the field. You are open-minded, innovative and communicative (also fluent in English). You have a relevant university degree (or an acquisition) or technical experience (system configuration, system upgrading etc). You also have an experience in databases and SQL. Knowledge about different PCM application, Teradata Value Analyzer etc and programming skills are considered as advantages.
