We are looking for a senior back-end developer who is passionate to contribute to top-end CMS development in terms of skills and best-practices. Do terms Java and Agile make your heart beat faster? Then we’ve got something for you!

Who are we?

Web Area domain is a part of Swedish Banking division in Group IT. We are sixteen employees located in Tallinn. Our team is working with Content Management applications development and maintenance, independent from huge bank release process. Our customers are bank employees in seven countries and, moreover, we provide services to millions of external visitors. We enjoy a creative, fun and flexible working environment with an open attitude to contribution.

What will we trust you with?

The New CMS project has been initiated earlier last year aiming to deliver a publishing tool for Swedbank external and internal sites. We are in the middle of the journey with a strong need for a senior back-end Java developer, whose main task will be to develop back-end for CMS components and pages in general and who would be fascinated by agile way of deliveries.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Extensive experience in back-end Java development (Java SE 8), awareness of clean code concepts;
  • Experience in code testing (Junit);
  • Support the definition of development lifecycle (e.g. Git workflows) and continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, Maven);
  • Proven track in large-scale projects (min 1 year-long projects);
  • Good communication and collaborative skills in English, willingness to support junior colleagues.

Extra points will be given for previous CMS and WEB development experience.
