Job Description

You’ll be responsible for business development, solution design / development and contributing to the continued growth of our SharePoint capability.

You’ll deliver business solutions on SharePoint for mid to enterprise level organisations, across multiple sectors, gaining a valuable breath of experience along the way.

Job Objectives

  • Participate in the planning, design & delivery of new solutions and workflows, either as development or native SharePoint projects e.g. SharePoint Designer, JavaScript injection, SharePoint Framework etc.

  • Assist customers with administering their SharePoint environments, such as ensuring the reliability & availability of farms, providing 3rd level support, aiding with adoption and training, implementing governance procedures, monitor & provide frequent status health checks of the environment.

  • Involvement in planning for upgrades and migrations

  • Communicate effectively with customer stakeholders, business units, end users, and technology teams to properly support, plan and deploy solutions that meet business needs.

  • Work with our current and future customer base to deliver new solutions and help them support their existing deployments

  • Implementation of SharePoint governance best practice including data  management policies, site structures, business process workflow design. 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of IT experience developing and designing solutions on SharePoint 2013/Online

  • Passion for SharePoint and broader Content and Collaboration solutions

  • Strong analytical capability, able to analyse a situation, identify a problem and provide solutions.

  • Hands on experience with design and delivery of enterprise-level Microsoft Applications 

    solutions 

  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint farm components, architecture, configuration, upgrades, deployment of custom developed and third-party SharePoint solution packages, diagnosis and troubleshooting

  • Understanding of the SharePoint Platform and core feature set, and working knowledge of SharePoint Services; BCS, Search, Excel, etc.

  • Knowledge of C# & SQL programming (e.g. TSQL) advantageous

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Source control methodologies and principles advantageous

  • Knowledge of React, Angular, or other JS frameworks advantageous

  • Familiarity with MVC framework, working knowledge of common architectural patterns, and Agile advantageous
