ŁĄCZPOL, a business partner of Nokia, is searching for exceptional candidates to join Network Services Delivery Center in Bydgoszcz, Poland - a leading delivery centre for any IP/Data and optical transport network deployment, migration, upgrade and integration activities.

Currently, we are looking for individuals willing to join a project for British company providing fixed telephone, television and broadband internet services aiming to expand and modernize their IP/Data and optical network across the United Kingdom.

Job objectives and responsibilities:

  • Collation of existing customer network solution and associated design and configuration data
  • Complete understanding of provisioning in a transmission network environment
  • Delivery of transmission devices designing, deployment and provisioning procedures
  • Work with field engineers to ensure configuration is installed, error free and ready for testing
  • Adherence to network security access policies and procedures
  • MOP’s and Work Instructions development according to Service Engineering Standards during CAPABILITY BUILD phase of the project
  • Cooperation with Process Engineer regarding migration process definition for new projects

Our requirements:

  • Very good English (written and spoken)
  • advanced optical networking skills including but not limited to CWDM/DWDM/SDH technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of wide range of transmission equipment such as Transmode, Ciena, or other vendors
  • Strong Transmission equipment configuration and troubleshooting skills
  • CCNA certification is a plus
  • TX Vendors certifications are in plus
  • Good understanding of transmission network environment
  • Experience of service provider and enterprise operational structures and processes
  • Experience of working in a virtual team environment
  • Ability to perform to a consistently high level under pressure
  • Good analytical skills
  • Culturally adaptable and flexible
  • Ability to assimilate quickly and act decisively
