Senior Systems/Database Administrator

For this Systems/Database Administrator job you will be responsible to provide support on both Windows and Linux systems, whilst acting as an Oracle Database Administrator. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the support team and provide training to team members when necessary
  • Assist the team with planning, and maintaining disaster recovery
  • Install, configure, administer internal and external IT systems
  • Carry out root cause analysis to identify the best courses of action for improvement
  • Ensure quality and compliance standards are adhered to throughout
  • Provide technical expertise in the setup and troubleshooting of new operational systems

 

Education & Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Good knowledge of Oracle databases and database administration
  • Prior experience working within an ITIL environment is considered a must
  • Understanding of PKI solutions is considered an asset
