Senior Reliability Engineer

Are you able to take the driver’s seat when it comes to modern Design in Reliability? Do you take pride in developing quality products? If so, you could be our new Senior Reliability Engineer. We are part of R&D in Danfoss Power Electronics and responsible for supporting the entire organisation in aspects concerning product reliability. You will be working out of our office in Graasten. Ensuring modern Design for Reliability methods Your overall focus will be to lead reliability engineering processes in product development projects and reporting reliability assessments. Your success will be dependent on your ability to integrate Design for Reliability processes in close cooperation with mechanics, electronics, control engineering and software at early prototype stages in order to achieve better cost optimisation, higher product quality and reliability. You will be reporting reliability assessments and securing project execution. Deploying, educating, and guiding in the usage of modern Design for Reliability methods and tools will be your key tasks. Keen communicator and team player You will have broad communication across the entire Danfoss organisation and with the rest of your colleagues in the reliability team. It is your job to urge and create buy-in from other operational functions to obtain robust and durable products, and you need to be able to influence working methods and secure structure in measurement and tracking. It is therefore essential that you are a team player who is able to work cross-functional with different cultures in a large organisation. Vast reliability experience The ideal candidate holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar, but it is essential that you can show a solid record of accomplishment within development of electro-mechanical products. You have several years of experience with reliability engineering, and you are confident working with Design for Six Sigma. You are open minded and comfortable in an environment that requires good Change Management skills. You have an analytical approach, but with a pragmatic drive. You never compromise on the quality of your work, and you have the will to succeed. You are structured and pro-active, and last but not least you master English fluently both in writing and speech.
