Copenhagen Local HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Quality) Ref.: MO-059060 Maersk Oil is looking for a Senior Quality Advisor who can drive quality in Maersk Oil through design and delivery of the organisational structures, processes and system. You will be part of the Corporate HSE Department, based in Copenhagen HQ. Key Responsibilities Personal Role Responsibilities: •To shape the forward direction for the global HSE function, and broader organisation, in the matter of management system to ensure they align with the needs of the business •To build, maintain and drive a team focused on developing globally consistent approaches to management system and governance of the Global Management System •To serve as focal point to the Maersk Oil Executive Team and Business Units in development and implementation of the Management System tool and content required to ensure Maersk Oil’s overall HSE strategy and objectives •Work in accordance with the Maersk Oil Global Management System •Drive the Quality community and GMS community. Team Lead Responsibilities: •Manage the Global Management System team, including staff recruitment, development, objectives and appraisals •Provide leadership and motivation to the staff within the team •To plan and resource work, including justifying, acquiring and managing any external resources As part of the Corporate HSE Team: •Support the development, strategy and objectives of the department and the global HSE function •Support and promote the work of other disciplines in the department •Live and promote the APMM values and the Maersk Oil Incident-Free culture in all activities Who we are looking for The right candidate will have proven experience of working at a corporate level in a complex multi-national Oil company, including leading in a Management System related role. This experience will ideally have been gained across a number of business, operational, project management, and functional roles. Experience of working with other operators and an international profile is desirable. The right candidate must in addition have: •An understanding of both HSE and broader business processes and practices, including global best practices and approaches in relation to Management System •Knowledge and comprehension of the lifecycle of the Oil and Gas industry both onshore and offshore across both established and new and regulatory regimes •Understanding of the role of Management System in enabling business success •Able to present ideas and issues convincingly and credibly with both senior leadership, through the line, and to external stakeholders •Experience with people management including leadership, motivation, objective-setting, coaching and mentoring •Proven programme and project management skills, including budgetary •Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken are a pre-requisite, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. •The position requires regular travel both within Denmark and overseas.
