CTG IT Solutions is currently looking for a Python Software Engineer within the European Institutions in Luxembourg.
Your missions
- You act as team member of the Internal Software Development (ISD) team, that supports company's business in providing IT solutions that are fit-for-purpose
- You 'Go-to' person for Python related developments and insights
- You do not only advocate on coding standards. You also maintain and improve them
- You craft a well-defined software architecture and design does not sound strange to you
- You consider also non-functional requirements and operational support requirements during your design/development in cooperation with the rest of IT team
- You lead developer in support of junior profiles : Coaching, code-review, best practices
- You propose alternatives to optimize the existing code in term of maintainability, usability, performance and other aspects
- You solve problem in case of need (troubleshooting)
Your profile
- You have a valid work permit in Luxembourg
- You are fluent in English, other EU language will be an asset
- You have high experience with Python 3 (Anaconda, Flask, Pandas, further common Python libraries for financial computation), REST, JSON, Swagger and OpenAPI
- Experience with Anaconda Enterprise Platform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Visual Studio are nice to have
