The primary responsibility of this position is to help our customers to solve technical problems they experience with OpenText software, with a focus on one particular product called Vendor Invoice Management. In addition to supporting complex customer environments you will also document solutions in our knowledge database. Typical activities within the role will include: 



• Troubleshooting and finding solutions for customer issues with SAP Addons with a focus on Vendor Invoice Management in a timely manner via telephone, email, support systems and, where necessary, remote support. 

• Producing detailed written documentation of all customer issues within the company database. 

• Authoring of technical documents in the ECM knowledge base. 

• Strong interaction with other departments and teams in troubleshooting major issues. 

• Liaising with mainly English speaking customers.

  • In terms of background you will come to us with excellent analytical thinking and problem solving abilities along with strong interpersonal and listening skills in a real-time support environment. 
  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills in English are a must have. 
  • As Vendor Invoice Management is a SAP add on, experience in ABAP, Basis, SAP workflow, object-oriented concepts and SAP FI (ideally AP) would be a distinct advantage. 
  • You are proficient with standard office application software and easily able to learn job specific applications. Further knowledge of technologies across operating systems, databases, client-server technologies, Content Management would be an asset but are not a requirement. 
  • We are looking for an individual with a keen sense of interest around technical matters and genuine passion and enthusiasm towards understanding, explaining and resolving issues for customers.
