Senior Java Developer Backend (m/f/d) 

Job Overview

Do you enjoy working with the latest technologies and consider Java your second language? Do you have experience in processing large amounts of (financial) data? And/or did you already work on scalable, highly available, high-performance services? Your Tasks

• Planning and implementing challenging software development projects in a service-oriented architecture with focus on backend
• Implementation of both technical and functional extensions of our index platform
• Developing high performance APIs to our clients and data providers
• Very close cooperation with our developers, QA and the business teams
• Proactively participating in our agile development processes

Your Profile

• Extensive professional experience and very good knowledge of Java/JEE
• Knowledge in database related technologies (ideally JPA, Hibernate, SQL/MySQL)
• Relevant experience in at least one of the following technologies: Spring, Akka, Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Development experience in at least one of the following areas:  
• Services and algorithms to handle large amount of data
• Scalable, highly available, high performance services
• Software for financial markets
• Experience in version control tools (e.g. Git) and CI environments (e.g. Jenkins)
• Strong analytical skills, effective problem solver, results orientation
• Strong team player and good command of the english language
