Senior DevOps

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Our teams are core to our position in the market. They empower our customers and are fundamental to thrive in the digital World. Dengun is looking for a highly motivated, smart and goal driven Senior DevOps developer, to join our team.

• Building deployment tools to manage systems and setting up analytics.

• Create and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.

• Helps with documentation and customer support.

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.

• Work closely with development teams and product owners as part of an Agile software development team to ensure the required functionality is present keeping in mind resilience at all times.

• Support the development teams on all infrastructure related subjects.

• Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans.

• Use the best tools for the job and write our own if that’s the best option.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Shell script (e.g., Bash) and Python.

• Experience in Git command-line, GitLab, and GitHub.

• Experience in Linux (e.g., Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu).

• Real-world experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

• Knowledge on MySQL and PostgreSQL configuration.

• Experience in monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry).

• Experience in Web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx).

• Experience in virtualization and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
