Our client is an established company specialising in the provision of financial software solutions and is currently seeking to recruit Application Developers to join their dynamic development team.

Senior Application Developers

Within this role you will be directly reporting to the Application Development Manager and will be responsible for various stages of the SDLC which involve the creation, coding, analysis, reporting, installation, and sustenance of applications. You will also be liable for developing reports and forms with the use of Crystal Reports, and any additional and required administrative tasks. You will also keep constantly up to date with innovative technologies and seek incessant improvement in all areas. Moreover you will work efficiently to fulfil any pre-determined goals.



The ideal candidate will be highly proficient Oracle PL/SQL and Java development.  You will also have a thorough knowledge concerning methods of structured programming and concepts of data normalisation. Furthermore candidates applying for this role will be able to work efficiently in order to meet pre-set deadlines and priorities, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and also a proactive, meticulous, professional and eager stance towards work. Availability to travel for one month stints is essential. Candidates need to communicate fluently verbally and in writing in English. Knowledge of Portuguese will be considered an asset.
