Security Analyst||Engineer

The Role

We're opening the Junior Security Analyst||Engineer position for an engineering role in our R&D team. You will work across multiple technical security domains and should have an understanding of the vulnerability of backend systems as well as common security applications. As our Junior Security Analyst you will be actively participating in connecting the real world with the power and potential of Distributed Ledger Technology. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor cyber security issues and communicate them with stakeholders;

• Analyzing systems, services and networks from a security perspective;

• Analyze security risks and assist with executing response procedures;

• Working with our Blockchain API;

• Rest API testing; 

• Micro services testing with Docker containerization;

• Testing different types of DB security issues; 

• Create scripts and programs to automate repeatable tasks;

• Effectively communicate and document issues && bugs discovered during the testing process; 

• Work closely with a team in an agile environment to ensure high-quality products.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, physics or computer science or equivalent;

• 2 years or more of experience in the Software Security control;

• Good Knowledge PowerShell, Bash, Nmap, Wireshark;

• Experience in penetration test creation and execution;

• Basic knowledge of Python;

• Practical experience REST API, WebSockets;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Experience in agile software development (Jira, Redmine, Confluence);

• Basic experience of git/github/gitlab;

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team;

• Basic knowledge of malicious software, vulnerabilities exploitation tactics and recommend preventative or defensive actions.

Preferred

• Basic conceptual understanding of networking, hardware, firmware and software components;

• Web services (RPC, gRPC);

• Experience with IOT;

• Experience with Blockchain
