Maersk Container Industry (MCI) is looking for a Sales Manager for refrigerated shipping containers to support our growing market share and additional factory in Chile. The position will be based at our headquarters in Denmark located in South Jutland, close to the highway and the German border. We Offer MCI is looking for a Sales Manager, preferable with experience from B2B sales and with technical insight, who thrives working in a dynamic and global environment. You will be an important part of our global sales and marketing team. As Sales Manager for MCI you will work closely together with the other HQ functions in Denmark and our production entities in China and Chile. Key Responsibilities As Sales Manager your responsibilities are: • Sale of MCI’s full product portfolio of reefer containers (Mark Q), reefer units (Star Cool) and optional products like the Controlled Atmosphere system • Key account management and business relationship development within a defined geographical area and account list • Winning new customers and more importantly retaining existing • Present and demonstrate technical solutions within reefer containers • Participate in strategic sales planning for the group and ad-hoc project work There will be a dedicated sales back up person to assist with coordination and administration. Who we are looking for You have a relevant educational background such as commercial bachelor, or an engineering/technical education combined with commercial experience. You have minimum 5 years sales experience within technical, transportation or maritime industries. Knowledge within refrigeration technology is an advantage. The position includes a great deal of communication in English, thus fluent English skills are required. Spanish, French or German is also an advantage, but not a requirement. As a person you have good negotiations skills and the ability to understand customer requirements. Building relations to external and internal contacts comes natural to you and you interact easily with other people. You are willing to travel about 40-50 days annually.
