Job vacancy: Registered geriatric nurse
To enhance our team, we are looking for an qualified geriatric nurse (m/f) for working in our nursing facility "Haus LebensWert"
Duties:
• Develops the initial plan of care based on established standards of care and evaluates patient's progress towards goals
• Executes and utilizes standards of care, individualizing care for patients with various diagnoses and changing conditions which may require specialized care
• Documents observations and evaluations in the medical record
• Patient care for active chronic care unit, including assessments and personal care
• Risk reduction and emergency preparedness
• Referral to/ongoing liaison with contracted services
• Consultation to caregivers/other professionals
• Ensures resident satisfaction and continuous quality improvement initiatives are promoted
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited, registered geriatric nurse, as an alternative health care provider, nurse, pediatric nurse
• Excellent organizational, time-management and team building skills
• Initiative and the ability to function both independently and as an interprofessional team member in a fast paced demanding environment
• Excellent work performance and attendance
• Must be able and available to work all shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays, as required
• Knowledge of German Language (B2)
• 30.00 hours per week / increase in working hours possible if desired up to 40.00 hours per week
