Drive early and consistent engagement of regulatory reporting across deals, partnering with RRPS in initial gap assessment of target company's regulatory reporting requirements building, designing and recommending global integration strategy for license roll-up and full integration in Global Regulatory Reporting leads.

The Regulatory Reporting Manager in the M&A function is responsible for assessing regulatory reporting obligations of acquired companies, ensuring the target company’s regulatory reporting and data processes are aligned to the relevant PayPal licensed entity.

Also responsible for evaluating potential impacts on existing reports as a result of the integration, working with business teams, IT Engineering and operations groups to ensure the new reports are developed to meet the regulatory obligation, including high-level control, governance, and automation throughout the entire development process.

After the report is finalized, the Regulatory Reporting Manager will work with the Regulatory Reporting Team to ensure streamlined integration into the team’s process.

Strong communication with stakeholders to address requirements and dependencies is required, as well as being a connection point between groups for different types of change requests, helping to remove roadblocks and set solution paths to comply with the regulatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

Engage with M&A leaders and participate in business initiatives around regulation and regulatory change to understand the regulatory reporting impacts and define readiness criteria.

Participate in meetings with the cross-functional due diligence teams including both internal resources and external advisers.
