Radiologist (Southern Denmark)

On behalf of a client Look Abroad! is looking for several radiologists. You will work at a public hospital in the region of Southern Denmark. Your Tasks

 You will work in a highly specialized radiology department in Denmark’s public healthcare sector. The radiology department works with image-guided diagnostics and therapeutic procedures ranging from ultrasound, to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) scan and X-rays besides many other procedures. As a radiologist, you will work closely together with medical specialists from other departments, besides radiographers and nurses.

Teamwork and patient-oriented perspective are highly appreciated in the department.

As a staff specialist, your main priority will be diagnosing and treating your patients, but you will have the opportunity of doing so much more! You will be able to participate in the training of resident doctors, research projects, conferences and training, and you will receive all the support you need to excel on a professional and personal level.


·        A university degree in medicine from a European Union university.

·        Specialized in radiology or about to finish the residency.

·        Our client prefers that you have some experience and interest in breast radiology. However, candidates who are about to finish or just finished their residency in radiology will also be considered.

·        Motivation for living and working abroad.

·        Citizenship of a European Union member state.


 You will use the Danish language at work and you will get intensive, free language training to help you reach a sufficient level before starting working in Denmark. To be able to participate in the Danish language course you will need to:

·        Be available for participation in an intensive 5-months online Danish course.

·        Be proficient in spoken and written English (B2 level or better).

·        Assistance with the relocation to Denmark and spouse employment assistance.
