Copenhagen Local/International Geoscience Ref.: MO-058979 The QI Team Lead is accountable for the quality and the timing of the projects carried out to support internal partners. This position is also responsible for resource allocation to carry out the various projects and for technology development with the QI arena. Manage team resources •Efficient project execution. Drive high quality deliverables. •Guarantee optimal IT resources for the team in order to execute projects timely. •Identify, develop and implement technologies to support the MO medium and long term strategy. •Facilitate collaboration relevant business units across the Company. •Facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including MO assurance teams. •Ensure the quality of QI work across the Company. •Ensure appropriate representation in Regional/International workshops and conferences. Who we are looking for •MSc or PhD in Geophysics or any other relevant scientific disciplines (Applied Math, Physics, …) •At least 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas. •Broadband knowledge of all aspects of Geophysics in an E&P context (acquisition, processing, QI, Seismic interpretation, non seismic methods). •Ability to understand and develop internal partners needs •Ability to define/manage/develop technology development program(s) in the relevant fields (technology surveillance, connection with the industry R&D community, optimal balance between Research, Development and Implementation, ability to promote internally and externally new technologies) •Ability to develop Geophysics activity with a cross-discipline views •Appropriate knowledge of Technical IT (Linux systems) Maersk Oil is an international oil and gas company with operated production of about 557,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from Denmark, the UK, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Brazil and Algeria.
