Danfoss IXA A/S is part of the Danfoss Group in Vejle, and our customers are global shipping operators, large shipyards, leading marine engine manufactures and after-treatment solution providers. The organisation consists of a highly specialised research and development team with many different competences, and your core qualifications will be application knowledge (ship engine room knowledge) and outstanding knowledge of customer project management. All the way from contract to after-sales As Project Manager your tasks will be overall project management and the job ranges from contract signature through delivery to after-sales service. Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to: •coordinate customer specific tests •plan test scenarios with customers •agree on success criterias and follow-up •support sales with application knowledge •coordinate and initially conduct pre- and/or after-sales-service After-sales-service is performed both behind the desk as well as in the field at customer sites. It is therefore important that you have a hands-on approach and are able to carry out basic installation and service tasks. An out-going personality with technical background The ideal candidate might be a Mechanical Engineer/Chief Engineer or someone with relevant electrical background, who has sailed large vessels, and knows how to manage the high requirements from the large ship owners engine manufactures and the after-treatment suppliers. Preferably, you have experience from large vessels and know how an engine room is managed, and how the different systems interact. You have proven project management competences and your excellent communication skills enable you to talk directly with ship’s crew, but you also know what top management of large companies expects of their suppliers. You thrive in a smaller, informal organisation with great ambitions, and you have a positive approach and an innovative mindset. Being a small unit, we depend on the flexibility of our employees, so of course you are ready to help your colleagues with task outside your usual workspace, when needed.
