Melexis recruits a Program Manager Testing.

Create and lead annual Process Improvement Program aligned with BU, Development and Manufacturing including external benchmarking in order to reach targets as set in the Melexis business plan in terms of budget and timing. Perform the feasibility and the concept design including subcontractor selection and risk assessment (PFMEA) in order to assess the selected solutions for their relevance, and their adequacy versus existing and future Melexis need. Ensure that the technical, commercial, timing and quality targets of the Process Project(s) are achieved in terms of required yield, test time, test coverage, process stability and maturity with a first time right approach in order to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction. Provide with support of the Process Specialist and Process Engineer to manufacturing the needed documentation and initial personnel training for product handling, equipment and tooling operation, calibration and maintenance, quality checks sharing inter and intra site. Deploy Melexis global best practices in order to achieve continuous improvement in term of standardization and efficiency.

Profile:

  • Have working experience with Automatic Test Equipment mainly in term of integration in the global/local IT environment and interface with analytic tools.
  • Process capability and control knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of Project Management Techniques and APQP
  • Financial acumen
  • Master Degree in electronic engineering (Electro-mechanics, Automation, Industrial control systems?) or other applicable industrial engineering degree
  • Experience in manufacturing technology
  • Experience in process management, project management and process control
  • Fluent in English
  • Willing to travel frequently and stay abroad (manufacturing or subcontractor site) for defined time periods.
