Product Manager with responsibility for solution development
As Product Manager for water solutions, you will be responsible for defining our market position in cooperation with our sales department. With this knowledge, you will help define the position in the value chain of our customers and participate in the development of the future smart water supply network solutions in order to secure Kamstrup's leading global market position.

You will work across the organisation in close contact with the Sales and Marketing departments. You will be responsible for new product launches, pay close attention to market trends and analyse competitors. 

Moreover, you will be an important participant in global launches of our water solutions, working closely together with local sales teams and relevant partners.

Based on your profound insight into the market and the trends as well as the competitive situation and your close contact with our customers, you identify and formulate the smart and innovative solutions of tomorrow for the water industry.
In addition, you will be responsible for the following areas:

You will work across the organisation in close contact with the Sales and Marketing departments. You will be responsible for product launches, pay close attention to market trends and analyse competitors. Additionally, you play an important role in global launches of our water meter solutions, working closely with local sales teams and external partners. 

With your profound industry experience and technological insight, your job is to maintain strong relationships with customers and communicate the intelligent water solutions we provide.

Moreover, you have the following areas of responsibility:
- Managing role in innovation projects, including idea generation and execution. 
- Representing customers in the Product Management team.

- Developing and implementing product presentations, white papers, specifications, etc.
- Training the sales team in solution-oriented sales and the latest development in the industry.
- Presale support and customer visits.

- Bid Management (proposal) support.
- Evaluating pricing and profitability.

You will expectedly have around 50 travelling days a year.

You are a technically and commercially minded person with personal drive. You are persistent, high-spirited and able to make an impact across the organisation. In the relation with our customers (existing as well as potential), you work result-oriented and with high spirit – you keep yourself informed by asking questions and listening to our customers and you use this knowledge to promote Kamstrup’s solutions.

When engaging in projects, you have a practical approach and easily categorise complex systems to comprehend how smart solutions can create value in the various parts of the customer’s value chain. In addition, you have an eye on new opportunities and can challenge the way in which things are done today. You have a broad understanding of how advanced IT-solutions are created and implemented and how efficient data handling and analysis are used to refine data for the benefit of our customers.

As a person, you have an open mind and strong communication skills that enable you to communicate information to various target groups at product trainings, presentations and conferences as well as in white papers, tenders, etc. You know the importance of a good cooperation and have the ability to work together with many different functions in Kamstrup and in an international environment.

You have an advanced master’s degree in engineering or another further technical education and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from similar positions within the water supply industry. 
The job requires fluency in English.
