Danfoss Fire Safety is looking for a Product Manager for pipes, fittings and installation material as we are expanding our product portfolio. As our new Product Manager, you will be our expert authority within system design - pipes, fittings and installation material. One of your primary tasks will be to identify customer needs and business opportunities through research, feedback and competitive analysis.

Danfoss Fire Safety A/S is part of the Danfoss Group and a global leader in the development, production, sales, service and commissioning of certified fixed firefighting systems under the brand name SEM-SAFE®. Our firefighting systems are based on two key technologies: high-pressure water mist and low-pressure CO2. We are engineering a safer tomorrow for people and assets in buildings, industry and the marine sector.

Job Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Maintain the product portfolio and keep it competitive and in-line with our markets.
  • Training of customers, partners and our sales team in design of piping systems including system design software.
  • Development of training material.
  • Lead and drive pricing structure and take part in supplier negotiations.

You hold a relevant educational background and at least 3-5 years of experience with installation, optimisation and design of piping systems. Based on your experience, you can guide and support internally and externally in design and optimisation of our systems. You are motivated by understanding customer needs and you are passionate about converting complex problems into manageable solutions. If you have worked with similar technology e.g. as an installer, it will be considered an advantage. Furthermore, your track record shows excellent people skills and results along the way, which will be useful in leading and coordinating tasks related to problem solving, implementation, clarification and training. Additionally, the ideal candidate needs to be:

  • A team player and a natural networker, who can work with many, different stakeholders in a complex business and build up strong relationships, which eases the handling of complex and controversial topics.
  • Able to easily keep an overview of multiple topics and their interdependencies.
  • Structured in their approach to tasks and assignments.
  • Fluent in English both written and oral. If you also speak German, this will be an advantage.
