Product Engineer (Belgium or France)

Your future job

As a Product Engineer at Melexis, you ensure the enhancement of product and system performances throughout product life time. You conduct the necessary steps in the solution finding process of internal nonconformities. You identify and drive potential product and process improvements and are part of the product development team in order to guarantee the correct quality level at product release. 

More specifically, you will

• Ensure the management of internal non-conformities
• Take responsibility to follow up product performance (quality, cost and time) and to drive improvements  
• Take responsibility for the PPAP update and for product documentation
• Provide inputs and drive product improvements from the product development kick-off throughout product life time.  You drive lessons learnt and local projects to improve product performances in general
• Handle changes on products and validate  technical impact on product related changes
• Execute the Product Quality Assurance responsibilities according to the Melexis Development flow.
• Coach Technicians and Associate Product Engineers

Your profile

• Master Degree (MSc) in Engineering (Micro-Electronics, Electronics, Physics etc.) or equivalent experience  
• Min. of 2-3 years experience in test of electronic devices, failure analysis or chip design
• Experience in international working environment  
• Fluency in English
