We have an opening for a Pricing Analyst. This position plays a vital role in our global Pricing organisation. The Pricing Analyst works with large sets of pricing data and translates the information into insight for business leaders to act upon and make decisions. They work closely with the Sales & Marketing organization and Business Units to confirm pricing strategies and determine target range prices in order to achieve our pricing excellence goals. The Pricing Analyst will lead initiatives to improve price structure and analytical tools to drive price realization. They will identify opportunities to enhance the pricing process and support the implementation of those changes across the organization. Key Responsibilities: •Analyse price structures to support the overall goal in optimizing the company’s profitability •Responsible for conducting market research and preparation of recommendations regarding pricing best practices •Consolidate price data from various business systems. They will look at trends and scatter in the numbers to form conclusions based on critical thinking •Conduct quantitative analysis, formulate and communicate action plans and drive improvement •Develop and implement pricing tools, metrics, and ad hoc reporting for use by Sales and Marketing and Business Units •Synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable recommendations Qualifications: •Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science, Master’s degree or PhD a plus •3+ years’ experience in a similar B2B industry preferred in a business or financial work environment •Excellent database management skills •Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to understand the relationships between the overall objectives and the single data points •Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact •A general understanding of data and pricing structures •Knowledge and experience with SAP (including Business Objects reporting) and fluency with Microsoft Office tools especially Excel and Access •Fluent in English and the local language What we offer: •An interesting and challenging job in a high performance team with potential for further growth •A global environment where you continuously will be able to develop your skills and competencies Please send your application marked with reference-no.
