The job offer is available for the following event:

One or more postdoctoral fellowships for a period of 2 years is available at the Center for Quantum Devices - Station Q Copenhagen to investigate small systems of semiconductor spin qubits to implement quantum error correction and a logical qubit made from an assembly of physical qubits. Research involves experimental design, fabrication of submicron devices, and associated electronics, radio-frequency measurement in a dilution refrigerator, data analysis, and scientific writing. Candidate should have a PhD in experimental physics (condensed matter or quantum optics) and experience with microwave electronics and cryogenics. Familiarity with quantum information will also be helpful.

The candidate should have a PhD in experimental physics or related disciplines, extensive experience in nanofabrication of electronic devices, and ideally, familiarity with semiconductor physics and quantum information.

Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

The starting salary is currently up to DKK 405,501 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 69,341). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
