Post-doc position in European research project INTERAQCT

Experienced Researcher (ER) position for integrated quality control of composite parts (University

of Applied Science Upper Austria, Austria)



Description: You will expand the initial results another fellow in the project by developing a method

enabling to classify defects as critical and non-critical defects. In addition, you will determine geometry,

orientation and shape of inner structures in these inherently multi-material objects, which can be

compared to the manufacturing specifications, hence achieving integrated quality control.

Eligibility and mobility criteria: At the time of recruitment you are in possession of a doctoral degree or

you have at least 4 years of research experience and you are still within the first five years (or full-time

equivalent) of your career in research; AND you have not resided, worked or studied in Austria for more

than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the time of recruitment.

Secondments: During this project, you will do a secondment (of a few months) to Borealis (Austria)

Duration: 16 months

Envisaged job starting date: as soon as possible
