Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • To undertake assigned activities under the direction of the Piling Supervisor / Project Manager.
  • Be enthusiastic & committed to the team’s purpose and share responsibility for performance.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the appropriate levels of safety, & quality.
  • Producing the deliverables/products to agreed specifications.
  • To take care of all safety equipment / tools provided and ensure they are used correctly.

Work as part of a team & contribute towards successful communication 

General 

  • Participate in, and positively promote, the Murphy Never Harm Programme
  • Undertake any reasonable duties expected of you.
  • Carry out all work in accordance with health and safety and any other legal requirements
  • Ensure compliance with the Company policies and procedures
  • Manage the performance of all employees assigned to you in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
  • Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities that are deemed appropriate by your line management.
  • Participate and engage fully in company appraisal/performance review processes and constantly work to improve your individual, your team and the wider group’s performance. 

Note: In addition to these functions personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the Group/Company/ Operational Unit

Skills, Experience & Tickets Required

Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in operating Rotary and / or CFA rigs- Bauer / Soilmec / Llamada / Casagrande piling rigs

Mini piling experience preferable but not essential

Must have Safe Pass, Manual Handling and CSCS Card (relevant type) CPCS UK Piling Rig certification acceptable.

Good track record in adhering to all health and safety procedures

Additional tickets preferred but not mandatory - CSCS Slinger/Signaller, Abrasive Wheel, Working at Heights, IPAF, MEWP

Full Clean Driving Licence
