Ikano Bank in Lund is looking for an Oracle Developer. As a member of our multi-cultural development team you will contribute to the development and support of our in-house application systems. We work exclusively in an Oracle-based environment and you will work in development- as well as in maintenance projects related to different business sites. Most of the development is done locally, but occasional travel to other offices can occur.
This position is part of the Application, Development and Maintenance team and reports to the Sub-Unit Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business needs to technical requirements and implementation.
- Architect & design components, features and systems.
- Back end development and PL/SQL.
- Working with XML, TOAD (or similar), Oracle Forms, application servers, performance and tuning knowledge (SQL).
- Agile development.
- Undertake root cause analysis on problems and suggest actions and improvements to prevent similar incidents occurring again.
- UNIX environment and Subversion.
Required profile and qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or System Analysis.
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of the Oracle Architecture.
- Experience in developing robust solutions in an environment using: Oracle 11g or higher, Oracle PL/SQL, SOA, XML
- Ability to diagnose and analyze application and database issues.
- Understanding of Interfaces to/from other systems.
- Experience working in projects (investigation, development, maintenance).
- Good problem solving capabilities
- Experience in unit testing.
- Structured, analytical and accurate.
