We have immediate full-time, part-time and relief opportunities available for nurses who have experience of working with children or adults with complex care needs who require the intervention of medical technology and care outside of the hospital environment.
The Role
You will accompany a young boy with complex medical needs to school and you will be required to carry out close observation and all nursing care during school time, including (but not limited to) tracheostomy care, PEG feeding and care, oxygen administration, PRN suctioning, medication management, etc.
Location: Ballsbridge, County Dublin
Type of contract: Full- or part-time contracts available
Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 16.00 GMT (during school term only)
Requirements
As a Nurse caring for CHILDREN with complex care needs, you should:
Previous community care experience – such as one-to-one care in the home – is an advantage.
