Vestre Viken hospitals are in need of nurses
Vestre Viken healthcompany (HF) consists of 4 hospitals: Bærum and Drammen, as the two largest, and Kongsberg and Ringerike. All hospitals are located in south-eastern part of Norway (west of the capital Oslo). Our hospitals are all located in beautiful environments near a city which offers you plenty of opportunies for hiking, skiing as well as swimming in summer.
Vestre Viken HF supplies hospital and specialist health services to 500 000 people in 27 municipalities west of the capital Oslo. Vestre Viken consists of about 10 000 employees.
Norway and Vestre Viken are currently in a challenge where there are a lack of qualified nurses and are in need of foreign nurses to come to Norway to work.
Norwegian nurses must complete a 3-year bachelors degree before they can apply for certification from The Norwegian Registration Authority for Health Personnel (SAK) so one can practice the profession. www.sak.no

We cover the need for nurses to somatic wards at the hospital. We are also looking for nurses who have experience in intensive care or in theatre (operation) nursing.
All hospitals offers temporary positions for the summer-season with possibilities of extending the work-contracts for longer periods.
Requirements:
• Compulsory Norwegian Authorisation as a nurse, from the Norwegian Registration Authority for Health Personel (SAK) www.sak.no
• Good IT skills
• Good skills in the Norwegian language equal to level B1 – independent user.
We offer:

• Salary according to the Norwegian Collective Wage Agreement.
• Overtime compensation and compensation for weekends and holidays according to the Norwegian Collective Wage Agreement. Compensation includes: Saturday and Sunday, public holidays and additional evening and night shift allowance.
Salaryrange: from NOK 353 000,- to NOK 403 000,- depending on experience. Nurses with education in intensive care or another speciality will have higher salaries depending on qualifications.

Vestre Viken leverer sykehus- og spesialisthelsetjenester til 500 000 mennesker i 26 kommuner. Dette skjer i tett samarbeid med primærhelsetjenesten i kommunene.
Vestre Viken har rundt 10 000 ansatte.
- Medisinske poster innen: Hjertesykdommer, lungesykdommer, mage/ tarm og nevrologi.
- Kirurgiske poster innen: Generell kirurgi, mage/ tarm, gynekologi, ortopedi og ØNH.
- Drammen sykehus har også avdelinger innen: Føde- og barsel, nyfødt intensiv, barneavdeling, akuttmottak, operasjon, intensiv, postoperativ og dialyse.

Kvalifikasjoner:

Vestre Viken har 4 somatiske sykehus i Østlandsområdet. Avstand: fra 20 minutter vest for Oslo. Alle sykehusene ligger i naturskjønne og lett tilgjengelige omgivelser. Du vil lett komme til oss, om du trenger bruke bil, fly, tog eller buss, er det gode kollektivforbindelser.
Drammen sykehus er vårt største sykehus med ca 4000 ansatte. Bærum sykehus har i dag ca 2500 ansatte. Ringerike og Kongsberg er de to minste med til sammen ca 3000 ansatte.
Vestre Viken har høy faglig kvalitet og kontinuitet i pasientbehandlingen. Vi rekrutterer korttidsvikarer, men også rekruttering til faste stillinger og lengre vikariater til sykehusene.
Arbeidsoppgaver:
- Utøve sykepleie.
- Innhente opplysninger om og observere pasientens helsetilstand og funksjonsevne, vurdere, prioritere, iverksette og evaluere nødvendige sykepleietiltak.
- Identifisere andre behov for hjelpetiltak og bidra til annen kvalifisert hjelp til pasientens beste.
- Informere og være i dialog med pasienten om sykepleie og avdelingens rutiner.
- Føre pasientjournal etter gjeldende regler.
- Administrere forordnede legemidler og pasientbehandling.
