Atlas Copco in Wilrijk is looking for a .NET software developer Your new team You will be part of our Supply Chain applications team, welcome! The team is responsible for the lifecycle of supply chain systems such as supplier interaction, in-and outbound logistics, Supplier KPI business intelligence (Qlik) and so on. Our team is part of the Compressor Technique Information Services (CT-IS) department that is responsible for information systems within the Compressor Technique business area of Atlas Copco. We implement digital platforms and digital solutions for our customers, our suppliers, and our internal organization to optimize and automate processes. We are looking for a strong .NET software developer who can help us implement, and support .NET based applications. Key challenges as a .NET software developer As a .NET software developer, it is your mission to translate functional requirements into solid technical designs and solutions. You will execute IT developments, IT validations and implementations. There’s more: you will act as a (technical) application owner which means you’ll provide IT support and technical development expertise. Thanks to your accurate approach, you will be able to support project management activities (e.g. planning and budgeting of IT developments). Last but not least, you will participate in maintenance activities (e.g. patching) and you will provide the necessary technical documentation. You will report to the IT Team Leader Supply Chain Applications.

...as a .NET developer

Who are we looking for? A proactive professional with experience in .NET (or Java) development. You have a university degree of bachelor’s degree in ICT or equivalent. You can rely on experience in following domains:

  • SQL and related frameworks and components
  • Discrete manufacturing, logistics and/or warehousing
  • Project management (Project management certifications are an asset)

You are fluent in English and it’s considered a strong asset if you have Dutch language skills. Striving for continuous improvement is your motto since you are inquisitive and eager to learn. Working under pressure and being flexible from time to time isn’t an issue for you.
