We are recruiting for both Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers.

The company delivers multidisciplinary projects throughout Ireland, the UK & Europe. The candidate is required to develop and deliver electrical designs to facilitate the safe and compliant install on site.

PURPOSE

Responsible to develop and deliver electrical designs to facilitate safe and compliant installations on site.

Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineer DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Designing in conjunction with fire certs, disability access certs & planning permission report.

· Attending Design team meetings.

· Carrying out site surveys of existing installations.

· Producing stage reports & presentations.

· Detailing electrical schematics for build.

· Sourcing and procurement of electrical components for designs

· Creating test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs.

· Liaising with customers & suppliers, meeting project delivery deadlines.

· Production of detailed design briefs, the basis of designs and survey reports.

· Carry out all work in a professional manner.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· 3 year’s experience in the Electrical or Mechanical Engineering field

· Deep knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Irish and UK standards

· Knowledge of Amtech required

· Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

· Strong communication skills

This role reports to the Design Manager.
