Innovative Space Company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer
For our mechanical design team, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer. You will have the opportunity to become part of an internationally oriented and dedicated team aiming at providing exceptional nanosatellite solutions to customers on the global market.
The Job Incluces the Following Set of Tasks:
- Work in the development phase all the way from initial concept to operation in orbit
- Designing satellite structures, electrical system shields, mounting brackets etc.
- Designing movable satellite systems parts such as solar panels and reactions wheels
- Designing tools, supports, and integrations stands for satellite production
- Designing in compliance with relevant ECSS and MIL standards, costumer requirements, and other market demands
- Drafting and ordering components for prototyping and carrying out various qualification tests
We expect the Employee to Have the Following Qualifications:
- Relevant technical knowledge obtained via education (preferably MSc level or more) and/or professional high-tech experience
- Professional experience with machine elements and machine design
- Strong knowledge about material selection, metallurgy, and surface treatment
- Experience in CAD systems (such as SolidWorks) and simulation tools
- Previous experience from the space-industry is an advantage but not a requirement
- Fluent in English on a professional level
