Mechanical Engineer
Currently, we give support to ALTEN on European level in searching of candidates, mainly for IT/ Telecom and Engineering positions. For one of our clients, based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, we are looking forMechanical Engineer with at least 3 years of professional experience.
The main responsibilities for this position are:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
- Work according to operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information
- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
- Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew
The candidate we are looking for should have the following skills:
- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 3 to 15 years of experience in a mechanical job
- Experience in engineering, automotive and high tech is a plus
- Good communication skills as you regularly meet with different departments and disciplines regarding the progress of your projects
- Interest in team work
- Very good knowledge of English and (possibly) German language
- In possession of a driver’s license (level B)
- Knowledge of drawing packages at various levels such as Pro Engineering, Unigraphix, NX or Catia, Inventor and Solid Works
