Manager for PrimeServ Technical Service - MAN Diesel, Frederikshavn

The position:

Due to a new organisational set-up we are looking for a manager for our travelling superintendents. The department consists of a manager, a co-ordinator and a technical assistant. Assisted by the co-ordinator you will be responsible for 30 superintendents.

Your main tasks will be daily operation with the main focus on efficient utilisation of resources and concurrently observing company policies. Furthermore you will be the driver in preparing the superintendents for future demands – both as regards competencies as well as competitiveness. The job will require extensive co-operation with our service-hubs world wide

Work tasks:

• Delegate the work tasks to the superintendents
• Responsible for approval and follow up on travel expenses
• Ensure that OHSAS 18001 (health, safety, security, environment) and the company compliance rules are observed at any time.
• Follow up on capacity, orders, quotations - both internally and externally
• Budget responsibility
• Controlling resources in relation to holidays, lieu days, education days etc.
• Responsible for continuous competency development and appraisal interviews

Qualifications:

• You are experienced in the above mentioned tasks and have some managerial training
• You hold a bachelor education as marine engineer or have another relevant technical education
•  Preferably you are familiar with the marine business and have knowledge of our products
• You are  trustworthy and have a service oriented approach to the job
• It is in your nature to take the lead, and you are both solution and development oriented
• You are goal oriented and motivated by creating results in cooperation with your colleagues world wide
• You are aware of the value of efficient operations and have a well structured and systematic approach to your work
• English – both orally and written - is mandatory
• Ability to move effortlessly in an international environment
