Location is flexible, but preferable locations are Vaasa (Finland), Graasten (Denmark) or Oragadam, Chennai (India)



Job Responsibilities



As a Lead Systems Architect your main task is defining, architecting and managing cross cutting systems like functional safety systems on a product level. You will be working closely with our product management and development teams globally to support the deployment of specific systems and guide them in systems engineering.



You Will Be Responsible For

  • Specific cross cutting systems – like Functional Safety systems.
  • Developing functional safety solutions based on IEC 61508 standard deploying them into our products
  • Support the continuous improvement of our systems engineering processes with your practical experience in systems engineering.
  • Support teams globally in how they practically apply systems engineering
  • Participate in relevant technical committees within standardization
  • Assist in the product validation & certification process

Background & Skills



To be successful in this position, we expect you to hold an appropriate technical degree (B.Sc., M.Sc.) e.g. in software and/or electrical engineering or similar experience.



Furthermore, You Should Have

  • Several years of experience in systems engineering and relevant systems engineering frameworks
  • Solid in developing architectures according to functional safety standards e.g. IEC 61508/IEC61800-5-2
  • Familiar with agile working methods
  • Positive and open-minded attitude
  • Thriving working in a matrix environment
  • Enjoying being in the driver seat every day – all day
  • A good command of English
