Laboratory Technicians are the backbone of a scientific research lab. We are looking for a Lab Technician eager to bring to life tomorrow’s solutions for the coatings industry. You will be based in our brand-new laboratories in Kgs. Lyngby.

What you can look forward to in this role

As a Laboratory Technician you will be part of a team of scientific staff and your work will be almost entirely laboratory-based.

Your tasks consists of, but are not limited to:

  • Support scientists in research and development projects in the area of protective coatings solutions
  • Prepare experimental paints and test specimens
  • Evaluate current and experimental coating systems according to agreed methods, standards and customer specifications
  • Responsible of paint application with specialised equipment, such as airless spray
  • Keep accurate and complete records and produce quality reports of your laboratory activity

Your qualifications

  • Education as Laboratory Technician or equivalent studies
  • Strong hands-on and quality orientation in the laboratory
  • Ability to plan and organise your tasks independently
  • Effective communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a coatings laboratory would be an advantage, but is not a requirement
  • Fluency in English is a necessity, both written and spoken
