Junior Sous Chef - The Westin Dublin Hotel

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Junior Sous Chef to join the leadership team of our exceptional kitchen brigade.

The Junior Sous Chef will support the Executive Head Chef and the Food & Beverage Manager in managing the main kitchen and the hotel's 2 satellite kitchens, guiding and developing the kitchen brigade, maintaining standards, and focusing on improving the culinary delivery. The Junior Sous Chef will also be involved in leading the stewarding team. 

The successful candidate will:

• Have a passion for food and the food industry in general.
• Be in the know of current major international food trends.
• Have the ability to come up with creative and exciting new dishes.
• Possess good leadership capabilities, including the ability to coach team members on the job.
• Hold a good understanding of how to monitor and influence food cost within the operation.
• Have the ability to maintain high operating standards and  consistency  across the kitchens.
