Location: Évora or Lisbon (remote is possible).
We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our team in Évora or Lisbon (remote is possible) and working on cool Insuretech, Fintech, A.I. projects and on our products – ROBO.AI, Ultratimeseries, and Hiringcue.
You bring:

Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or related degree

Motivation to working in Data science, NLP, Big Data

Experience using computer languages (such as Python, R, Scala)

Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques

A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques

Strong problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:

Selecting features, building, and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques

Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
-
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
