Job offer description

For one of the largest banks in Ireland, we are urgently looking for a Java lead. 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful implementation of roadmap, driving the adoption of these standards across the enterprise
  • Form and lead agile project teams comprised  
  • Adhere and when needed implement best practices to engineering environment
  • Ensure positive and fast paced environment is maintained as the scrum teams grow
  • Mentor and grow a team of developers focusing both on career and personal development.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to determine release scope and to ensure that features meet requirements

 

Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • 5 years of Java experience
  • 3+ years of experience mentoring and leading a team of developers
  • Experience in banking and financial services is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of Agile environments

 

Offered:

  • Competitive salary from €70k - €80k p/a
