YOUR FUTURE JOB
As an IT Project Manager at Melexis, you will be responsible for the end to end management of the IT development projects meeting the scope, time, budget and quality requirements. You will act as the contact person towards the internal customers for the running and planned projects and ensure alignment between the stakeholders.
More specifically, you will

define short and longer term planning of projects and related team/project members following the set of priorities.
- report on the projects' status (scope, planning, budget, resources, issues, risks,...) towards the different stakeholders

coach and lead the project team members
- ensure smooth handover to the operational teams and users (incl. documentation, training, follow-up,...).
- make recommendations on how to improve the management and follow-up of projects and resources for the whole IT department (in terms of integrated tools, methodologies, best practices,...) and help to implement them.
YOUR PROFILE

Master in IT or engineering with at least 5 years or relevant experience as project manager in IT
- Knowledge of and experience with PM standards/methodologies such as PMBOK, Prince2,...

Knowledge of and experience with the Agile/SCRUM methodology ...

Knowledge of business and functional analysis methodologies (Volere, UML,...)

Solid IT background, with a strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and IT development methodologies, languages, platforms and tools (Jira, OO design, functional programming, microservices, Java, Springboot, Docker, Cubernetes, continues integration,...)

Knowlegde and experience of PM, analysis, reporting,... related tools (MS Project or alike, Enterprise Architect, Excel pivots,...)

Knowledge of cloud platforms, architectures and services is an asset

Experience in performing a business and/or functional analysis is an asset
