We are looking for a young and proactive trainee for 2021 in several departments of Pine Cliffs Resort. See below all the options we have to offer you!
Restaurant Service: Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms, take orders, present menus, answer questions and offer suggestions; serve Food and Beverages, clean and prepare tables, and be available to work in all areas of Food & Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference & Events.
Kitchen Service: Prepare one part of a major meal such as an entrée, vegetable, salad or dessert, in proper quantities for serving, prepare mise-en-place for daily basis and for the next day, help and assist with another station as assigned by the Chef of Partie, and clean and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any repair or maintenance needed.
Leisure & Sports Department
Main Tasks of the position: Learn to identify Housekeeping’s responsibilities, as well as cleaning procedures and performance standards of Maids, acknowledge computer procedures and systems, which allow Housekeeping Executive to maintain the Rooms’ information and work planning up to date, and communicate with the appropriate staff to inform about a guests’ arrival/departure.
Entertainment (Kids Club – Porto Pirata) Department
Main Tasks of the position: Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care and assist the team with special events, prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children, change the diapers of infants and toddlers, and support the daily recreation, games or art and craft activities.
Main Tasks of the position: Be able to create and change bookings, organize department’s files and airport transfers for guests, follow-up on pending bookings, check stop sales and Rooming Lists, and knowledge of Company’s Up Sale & Benefits Program for guests, in order to insert information on the reservations.
Front Office Department
Reception: Help and assist de Front Office team whenever necessary with Check-Ins and Check-Outs, acknowledgement of computer systems used in the Property, coordinate and interact with other departments, in order to attend our guests’ needs, assisting them with any request, and organize information for the daily basis of the department.
Concierge: Be able to attend guests’ requests, such as special occasions, arrangements or services, provide relevant information to guests regarding Company’s Up Sale & Benefits Program, and know the area and Luxury Collection language and procedures, in order to deliver a unique experience to the guest.
Guest Relations: Be able to do the Check-Ins for our RCS & CEM Guests according to the company standards, be present in the lobby to communicate and interact with our guests, prepare VIP daily basis and Welcome Cards, and answer Guest Satisfaction Report.

Portuguese (mandatory for Front Office, Housekeeping & Reservations)
English advanced or fluent
Spanish knowledge would be highly appreciated
Knowledge of any other language will be a plus
