As a part of our transformation program on industrial innovation, we are looking for ambitious and independent international Technical Project Managers who will join the center of excellence of this global organization.

 

Your mission

The chosen candidate will start as a InternationalTechnical Project Manager within our ambitious team of transversal project managers. You will be expected to support multiple projects as and when required.

The overall responsibility of the group is to serve as the strategic interface, with assigned business units or functional areas, to support business technology, strategy development, solution discovery, project execution and relationship management. In this role one will be expected to provide high valued support and guidance through key innovation initiatives. Proactively sharing knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiently and effectiveness of business units will be part of this role.

As an international Technical Project Manager in this team, the ideal candidate will lead and manage the end-to-end projects with Aperam across IT, Digital and Business Process areas.

The role will have an opportunity to participate in the Digital Transformation (Industry 4.0) journey of the company. A start-up mindset will enable the role and the team to accelerate the delivery of business objectives and set up new innovative projects.

 

Your responsibilities

- Be responsible for the conception, calculation and quoting of automation solutions for the Aperam production network

- Manage end-to-end projects: initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring and closure of projects, ….

- Implement and follow-up of global projects on different sites in the field of Robotization, Automation, Digitalization/Connectivity, Production IT

(MES, WMS, ERP Interfaces), Energy saving, Process Innovation and Shop Floor Layout.

- Report and own the KPIs of projects (control quality, time, budget and stakeholder satisfaction).

- Communicate with different internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, institutes, experts, ….)

- Collaborate in the project team as a competent partner for automation

- Define and further develop Aperam automation standards.

 

Your profile

 

  • You have a Master degree in Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy Management.
  • You have min. 5 years experience as a technical expert in a industrial environment with a few years experience in Project Management
  • You are a certified Project Manager (preferably Prince 2).
  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
  • You can work autonomously and you feel comfortable to work with different cultures and nationalities (travel predominantly within Europe approximately 60%).
  • You are a strong communicator with the ability to build relationship, articulate, challenge and defend proposals.
  • You have a structured thinking with a strong problem solving skills and a pro active consulting attitude.
