Housekeeping Supervisor (Laundry)

A vacancy has arisen at Hilton Malta for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to work mainly within the Laundry section. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards;

• Assists the Laundry Manager in ensuring a smooth overall daily operations of the Laundry

• Manages team members to ensure high motivation, provision of high quality service and ongoing development

• Ensures linen and laundry supplies are ordered and controlled in line with business requirements

• Able to perform all positions within the Laundry, including safe and proper operation of all equipment

• Maintains hygiene standards and cleanliness of the laundry and its equipment

This position requires an individual with an outgoing personality, excellent customer relations skills, fluency in English, good organisational and leadership skills as well as a smart personal appearance. The selected candidate would have an eye for detail and a passion for proving an outstanding service to our guests.

Previous related experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel is preferred, however not necessary as full training will be provided.  An ITS Accommodation Operations qualification or equivalent and knowledge of another language will be considered an asset.
