For our Product Lifecycle Management department we are looking for a Head of Power Plant. The department is responsible for the product management of the power plant products, Services and Solutions for our Onshore- and Offshore products in the following areas: SCADA systems and System integration- Responsible for the SCDADA systems, related HW products as well as the system integration of Software-products from Plant and turbine level. Performance features and Control - Responsible for the performance and control features, power performance upgrades on plant level, as well as the plant performance optimization Grid Access solutions - Responsible for the Grid Access solutions on Wind power plant level, ancillary services, electrical control features, as well as the integration of auxiliary equipment and fulfilment of Grid codes Product & Solution Security - Responsible for the product and solution security for Wind Power Division, including security strategy, security policies and product and solution security roadmap. You will be responsible for the product and portfolio management for Power Plant products and solutions worldwide in the Onshore and Offshore area, defining the strategy and ensures the implementation of all product, solution and/or services

What are my responsibilities?

Your main responsibilities will cover: Define and maintain the platform product strategy and roadmap Develop competitor benchmarking, monitoring of technology trends and market changes of Power Plant related offerings to ensure clear competitive roadmap Ensure full knowledge on market requirements and value-add services of target markets/customers to develop clear product requirement specifications to initiate and control R&D projects. Define required R&D budget to fulfil the product/features roadmap and time to market Responsible for the availability and maintenance of the power plant platform information for documentation (internal and towards customer) Create the link between the technical capabilities of the PP offerings in Siemens portfolio and the value generated to target markets/customers to improve competitiveness

What do I need to qualify for this job?

You have a Master degree in Engineering, science or similar. Additional BA qualification (e.g. MBA, HD) or similar experience (e.g. consulting) preferred. You have strong leadership skills, are result oriented as well as strong focus on customer satisfaction You have significant experience in R&D, Project or Product Management. Experience in a strategy related environment as well as capability to drive strong strategic initiatives Knowledge and experience in power system design and operation, SCADA and control systems design and development, preferably from the wind industry, utilities, system operators, automation industry or energy products. You posses excellent communication skills both in oral and writing (English). You are proven user of Microsoft Office package. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
