Grundfos IS Infrastructure Operations is looking for a candidate with a passion for delivering great products and services in our IoT platform on a global scale.

As a Digital Operations Specialist at Grundfos IS you are responsible for successful launches of end-to-end products and services on i.e. Microsoft Azure platform, to maximize the value to customers and users. You will be the center of our Digital Operations by being the driver of all deliverables of Digital Cloud Solutions related to Infrastructure Operations with continuous delivery of deployments and new releases, supporting mission critical services. You will be working in the borderline of existing IT infrastructure and the new fast-moving digital cloud solutions and services.

You must be the anchor and driver of all tasks in Digital Operations ensuring communication, coordination and facilitation of Products Teams, platform architecture, cost optimization efforts and much more. As a Digital Operations Specialist you can translate complex IT infrastructure to all types of stakeholders from both IT and Business and communicate business requirements into concrete deliverables.

Your focus will be to ensure the teams can build fully automated and highly scalable cloud infrastructure solutions with efficient utilization of resources in the cloud, deployment of services, simplified monitoring, troubleshooting of services, and optimizing the platform for reliability and performance.

This unique role lives within our Infrastructure Operations organization but operates at the crossroads of several Product Teams and departments that work together to deliver successful digital products. In this exciting position, you constantly look for ways to ensure the best in class cloud methodologies and practices, and make use of your expert skills in designing, implementing and operating cloud platforms as well as your coordination and communication expertise.

We expect you to…

  • be organized and have several years of fundamental IT experience and a good understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform (IaaS and PaaS components)
  • have strong troubleshooting skills across various IT layers
  • have very good communication and coordination skills – you will communicate to stakeholders at all levels
  • continously being updated on new services and features in the cloud
  • have knowledge of designing and operating cloud environments
  • have collaborative behaviour as you work across functional boundaries
  • have confidence and skills to make data-informed decisions
  • champion new perspectives, challenge assumptions and current processes
  • promote the value of our products and create excitement about delivering the world’s best digital products

What you need to apply

You hold a Balchelors Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or you have other relevant experience. It will be an advantage if you have some years of experience with cloud technologies and/or experience in operating software services in the cloud / agile platform environments. Important is that you have experience in participating in or coordinating major cross-functional service launches (design and operations of digital services). You have excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to articulate and defend complex, nuanced positions. You will communicate to all levels of the organisation.

On the personal side, it’s important that you have strong coordination and facilitation skills and you find it easy to communicate and build up networks across borders, cultures and time zones. You are analytical and you have a critical thinking style – allowing you to be able to make good decisions in a fast-paced environment. You work fast and efficient and you are a self-starter.
